It's snowing in the high country- about three inches last night and sill coming down. This news
is good and bad for the river flows. The snow on the peaks will now freeze and completley shut the melt down. Therefore by Monday most of the rivers in the central mountains will drop substanially. The rivers are still high from yesterdays rains but look for the water to drop fast throughout the week. As the days warm up next week the water will gradually go up again. The bad news is that the runoff will not be over soon. The freeze- up will slow things down. Below is the link to most of the important river gages in the central mountains.

The waters are quite high everywhere. Best bets are the area lakes and inlets.

Dillon- Ten Mile and Blue River inlet
Antero Reservoir
Spinney Mountain Reservir
Willimas Fork Reservoir for Pike !

Will be back soon with updates !

Hello angling fans ! The waters been so high lately I really have had nothing to report until now ! THE RIVERS
HAVE PEAKED ! and that is early. All the major rivers are still bank full -but receding slowly. Tailwaters are still the best bet. South Park has the best conditions. Here's what we recommend today.

S. Fork of the S.Platte Below Antero . - 125 cfs. fishing ok near Hartsel

S. Platte below Spinney Reservoir- (Dream Stream) high and clear at 395 cfs.

S. Platte below Eleven Mile Reservoir near Lake George-
159 cfs and fishing very well in the canyon.

S. Platte above Antero Reservoir- 120 cfs and dropping . should be getting better soon.

Antero and Spinney Mt. Reservoirs continue to fish well !

I would steer clear of the lower Blue both above and below
Green Mountain Reservoir as well as the Colorado River anywhere!

Look for condtions to improve everywhere soon.
Till next time- tigth lines !
